PEGGY and HER FRIENDS

Peggy is a feisty woman of 62. Being a grandmother to two teenage boys and a newborn granddaughter has done nothing to diminish her young spirit. John, her son-in-law, recognized this from when they first met, and she insisted that he call her Peggy.



She was teaching when she got a phone call from her husband telling her about his building being hit on 9/11. Rather than dwell on her loss, she continued mentoring one of her newly pregnant fellow teachers, who also lost her husband that day,



Being bright and witty, she meets a wealthy businessman while accompanying John and his family on their vacation. She so charmed him that in a short while, he takes her to meet his grown children in Paris and proposes.



When Harold takes the entire family on an ocean cruise, Peggy is asked to make a choice between a possible singing career or a family life with the man she loves.
