PAUSE AND REWIND

This is the follow-up to the inaugural Pause and Rewind book of photo-poems on the theme of 'Places', blending the author's own words and illustrations. It includes a variety of locations, themes and moods to appeal to a general audience. The author's quirky and engaging style is in evidence throughout this new collection.



The idea of photo-poems is not new. Early forms can be traced back to the 19th century, building on the tradition of ekphrastic poetry, where a poem is written typically in response to a piece of art. This modern version builds on that tradition.
