Paul Dougherty: Paintings

Paul Dougherty was a painter of dramatic marine scenes and desert landscapes imbued with a certain poetic and romantic charm.

His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Joslyn Museum in Omaha; and the Fort Worth Museum in Texas as well as many other major museums.

The present work showcases a fine array of new photographic images of paintings by Dougherty utilizing the Kvamme process of digital enhancement.
