Pathways of the Mystic

This book is both a personal and collective process that arose out of many years of meditation in which poems and art spontaneously arose that served to explain and frame various meditative experiences and mystical phenomena. At some point, all of the singular poems and their corresponding guidance came together as a surprising whole, portraying a very lengthy journey as a cohesive and meaningful process with distinct stages or aspects within itself. The purpose of this book is to help others to understand and validate their own spiritual experiences that may occur, as I needed myself. Whether one is part of an organizational religion or involved in a nondenominational spiritual path, the information here goes beyond any divisions. This book also portrays how creativity can serendipitously emerge and pour forth without any conscious, willful desire or intention as a result of the mystery and power of the Spirit or Divine flowing through our being. Lastly, Pathways of the Mystic focuses upon cross-cultural mysticism; the universal experience of the Divine or Holy shared by all.
