This book is written to address the Texas certification examination for special education teachers (TExES). All teachers must pass this exam to receive special education certification, and a school cannot hire a candidate without this certification if there is a candidate who has it. The book aligns directly with the Texas State Board of Educator Certification domains and competencies, which are aligned with the Texas Administrative Code standards.
