We all know how much of a distinctive flavor Parmesan cheese has. I think it is one of a kind and that is why it is absolutely deserving of its own cookbook.
We are used to seeing and using Parmesan cheese on pasta, pizza, Caesar salads, or even on French onion soup. These are some classics and we totally honor these dishes. However, as always, our book will propose to you some recipes you may never have thought of otherwise.
Parmesan cheese is a hard cheese. That is why most of the time you will find it sold as a powder, grated, or shaved. Have you ever bought slices of Parmesan? I was questioning myself the other day. Why isn't it so that we cannot find slices of Parmesan in the deli section or prepackaged? It occurs to me that it must be because it is a cheese that is extremely hard and crumble when you try to slice it.
