As time goes by, the reality of a moral degradation that never existed before seems more accepted. This is perceived in

people when they say, "Every day things are getting worse and worse." If we reflect on the world around us, we would realize the emotional impact this has on us. Many people are alarmed and want to correct what is wrong They come up with new methods to try to recover what has been lost, but such efforts seem insufficient. "There is a crisis in society, its core is almost broken," is what most people usually conclude. It is inevitable to witness how our society disintegrates under an increasingly large, strong, and seemingly indestructible avalanche of problems that affect the youth of this time.

It is sad to see how many Christians cross their arms or relax in their chairs without trying to do something. With an

almost boastful tone, they are heard saying, "The Bible does not make mistakes! There are still many things to come. This

world is getting worse and nothing will change; Christ is at the door, and all of this is just the fulfillment of the prophecies written in the Word." It's true that society is deteriorating more every day. It's true that, in the prophetic order, countless things must happen. I would applaud those who express themselves in this way because they have discovered that, despite their efforts to help, they feel that their struggle has produced little result. It was not a bad thing for those who manifest that their intentions, or as it is said colloquially, "to contribute a grain of sand" to improve society. We cannot remain motionless or settle for what is happening around us. It is not proper for a true Christian to sit and let

things happen "because that's how it should be," without doing something to rescue what can be rescued. When we act

in this way, the same thing happens as when a person knows that someone is going to perish and prefers not to warn them because sooner or later, their fate will be the same. Although everything that is happening today was already

warned: fights between parents and children, hatred among siblings, cooling of love due to the increase of evil, it is necessary to undertake a struggle to rescue everything that is possible. No matter how much effort or the number of things that can be recovered, our goal is to attract Jesus to as many people as we can. Christians are like firefighters who, in fulfillment of a mission, despite arriving at a place that is being consumed by fire, do not allow themselves to see that whole thing in front of them fall without doing everything possible to prevent it from happening or rescuing what is within their reach. This same mentality is what we should have as Christians. Amid the devastation caused by the moral and spiritual degradation of our society, millions of groans are heard that cannot calm their longing to be heard. They persist in shouting because the person who does so hopes that someone can hear them. "Parents, Heroes or Villains?" is born out of God's love in the heart of a child who invites parents to listen to that silent cry that arises from the depths of their generation. I do not intend, on the pages of this book, to denigrate the authority of parents. The hard work presented below seeks to rebuild a more biblical, sensitive, practical, and enjoyable image regarding what authority means. May they discover the immense privilege of "honoring God as stewards of those creatures He has placed in their hands." I write to parents to motivate them to listen to the heartbeat of their children. So they can discover that, despite having a

very carefully crafted image with respect to those outside, appearing impenetrable to their own, the reality could be different.
