Parables of Lucas Fosterman

Lucas Fosterman has lived a full life, from growing up in rural Missouri to serving in the Marine Corps and eventually becoming a successful businessman, father, and grandfather. His seemingly perfect life is ripped away when the accused murderer of his ten-year-old granddaughter is acquitted on a technicality, forcing a resolute Lucas to do the only thing he believes will bring solace to his broken family. While facing the consequences of his actions, he finds that incarceration leaves him alone with haunting memories, tremendous guilt, and a driving need to find atonement. Then a chance meeting with a young inmate in the prison infirmary leads Lucas on an adventurous new path to redemption.
