Papa Dok was first printed in 1968 while Papa Dok was alive and was later printed into seven languages and now Kreyol (Creole). It is the story of the early days of the dictatorship that was to last thirty years. It was a time of evil and terrible fear. This is a non-fiction book and the work of two journalists.
