Pandora was told that the box was dangerous, menacing, and evil. But here’s what she wasn’t told—it isn’t the box that is dangerous; it’s the idea of locking up its insides that is. Taboo and stigma have conquered the narrative of womanhood to such an extent that women often feel devoid of their own qualities.
