CVO (Camden's Very Own) Quashon Mayes grew up depressed in Camden and didn't even know it. It wasn't until he reached college and learned what it meant to be depressed. Suppression leads to depression and Camden, NJ has been suppressed for all 25 years of Quashon's life. Quashon was making the best of horrible situations in Camden instead of looking for a better situation. He didn't believe there was a better situation. Those days of him making the best of the worst lead to his collection of poems "Lost In The Mayes" (6Lit. 2018). Loose In The Labyrinth acts as a sequel to Lost In The Mayes.
