Outside the Wire

Larry, drafted just out of high school, fights to survive a year in Vietnam's Central Highlands and come home alive, while Buddy, lucky in the draft, remains seemingly safe at home. But the war, and the separation it decrees, forge changes in both. Tour of duty over, Larry returns home a different man, a ghost of himself dealing with the consequences of war and an addiction to drugs. Buddy struggles to help and understand, but despite his love for Larry, he too is haunted by what happened to Larry in Vietnam.



Together, the two must find a return to what they were before, and figure out if their futures will be together or apart.
