Out of the Corner

Out of the Corner is a true story of an eighteen-year-old young woman, Ruth, who finds herself held hostage in a corner of life. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery and recovery from co-dependency. Ruth's story spans a period of twenty yearstwenty years that have Ruth immersed in a difficult marriage, the pervasiveness of addiction, and the evolving corporate world of the 1980s. Being a woman in management in a predominately male culture, she discovers a backbone within herself she never knew she possessed. Ruth must find a way to reconnect to the ';light within' that guided her throughout a troubled childhood and can ultimately steer her into a life she could only have imagined possible.
