Out of Paradise

This is a political thriller which is situated in early revolutionary Iran against the background of actual events that took place in the year 1983, when the author was working in Iran. Although the plot was dramatized, the story has many autobiographical elements. The main characters are an idealist Iranian woman with leftish inclinations; her realist father, an army general; a jealous ex-husband; and a bewildered foreigner who get caught in a web of intrigue.
