Our Journey to the Better World, by Magdalena Kocemba-Augustyniak illustrates the struggle for one's survival in 20th/ 21st century. It suggests that humankind could make the world he/ she is living in a lot better but it takes the joint efforts of not only the little, or middle man, deemed to be a player but especially those who spin the universe. If men would stop enslaving other men, in the name of liberty, whatever it may be, much of the 21st century drama could be avoided. What the society needs today is to rejuvenate "the child's world," the world where each individual, adult or a child, feels loved and secure. Happiness begins within one's family, no matter what the size of it, and then, when properly nourished, it radiates to the entire society. If the society learns to respect the private lives of its core, the family, it will thus create healthy individuals and the nation as a whole. The book describes in great detail what the human mind can do to one's self when pushed to the borderline.
