Ordinary Chondrites from North-East India

The study of meteorites is wide-ranging, leading into many areas of technology and science. This book provides insights into the meteorites that fall and are found in the North-eastern region of India, and will appeal to the reader interested in the spectroscopic studies of planetary materials. It focuses on basic findings using Raman and infrared spectroscopic techniques on selected meteorites. It also places particular emphasis on silicate minerals found in ordinary chondrites, and provides a list of Indian meteorites and a glossary of meteorite terms.
