Beskrivelse
All seems peaceful and quiet in the Yangambi Forest, but not for Oni. She misses Tata, her father. "A little girl needs her father!" the spirit animals agree. So, they secretly watch over her as she embarks on a long journey and sometimes dangerous.
She plunges into a dream world where no one really knows what time it is except the Congo River, the tangled jungle vines, and the wind-swept moon-oh, and Nyoka, the wise serpent. It is there that Oni learns the secret to self-nurturance, guidance, and protection-her actual heart's call.
The ancient Bantu words, Lingala phrases and traditional African 'call-and-response' musical style drum in every scene because it is Oni's special life song. You, too, have a special life-song. The secret to your 'Bokasi' is to hear it and play it!
