One to One

One to One - Monologues from a Writing Group is a collection of individual fictional pieces created by members of Burton Monday Writers - a group of freelance writers, poets and novelists based in Burton Upon Trent in the English Midlands. Intended for performance, each work is original and has not been published before. Each piece has a brief introduction including the character voice. Some are sad, others amusing, even a few objects are given a voice. Characters are reflective, hopeful and poignant. Hopefully, in the true vein of monologue format all reveal something of themselves in the narrative.
