First published in 1901, 'One of My Sons' is a detective novel written by American novelist Anna Katharine Green. When Arthur Outhwaite is beckoned over to help a young girl with her grandfather, he is handed a letter by the old man and asked to deliver it to a specific person. However, the old man dies right before his eyes before he can reveal that person's identity. With little to go on, Arthur attempts to unravel the mystery of the unknown recipient and the strange circumstances of the old man's death.
