science fiction novella, set in 2090, Tom Aurora, a space academy washout, assigned as a cargo pilot to a special technology test mission bound for Mars, is challenged with doomsday on Earth shortly after launch. He is redirected to a survival flight to an unchartered planet. Tom is determined to change the future of the human species.
