One Dance With The King

Eleanor knew she would never amount to anything. She was told that all her life by those around her. Amongst being a servant, an orphan with a tainted bloodline so that no one seemed to care for her because they said she was cursed, and an evil man following her, Eleanor believed it was a sin that she was ever born. No one could look past who she was to even care for her. Eleanor truly believed she was cursed until...an unintentionally encounter with the king. She was dismayed because of her heritage, but the wall around Eleanor's heart began to crack. Though he always seemed tormented, there was something about the king that was different from all the rest. What made him different? To turn Eleanor's world completely upside down, a mysterious stranger came to town, and, shortly after, things started to go wrong in the kingdom. Why did Eleanor feel like someone was watching her, and why her? Why did the king choose to dance with her at the ball? She was a nobody. William never wanted to become king after a great sin he committed ripped his heart out. He hated himself and knew his kingdom deserved better, but his father had other plans. William was tormented that he could never be like his father, but who is this servant girl in his castle that somehow seemed to comfort him just with her presence? Why her? William knew the law. He knew royalty must marry royalty, but why did his heart seem to rip out of chest each time he thought of that? Truly, he had gone insane. Not only was he loosing his heart, danger and mystery lurked about his kingdom. Why would a simple servant, an orphan, seem to be caught up in the middle of it all? Why would William even choose to dance with his servant at the ball? William and Eleanor did not realize how much that one dance would change their lives forever.
