On Security, Peace and Equal Distribution of Wealth is a collection of 30 essays on economics and management. The author, Chen Wu Chu, was a public servant doing secretarial work for the President of the Executive Yuan. He frequently composed investigative reports and analytical essays on economic, financial and social affairs for Cabinet members as decision-making references. Now these essays are collected in a single volume for those who care deeply about the people on Taiwan, Republic of China.
The 30 essays collected in this book tackle a wide range of political, economic, social and cultural issues. These include Taiwan's interior and foreign affairs, finance, economic development, education system and cultural development, just to name a few. The focus is to help enhance political reforms on creating a democratic, capable and efficient government in order to implement the nation's public policies successfully. More importantly, the goal is to achieve equal distribution of wealth among the people in order to establish a secure, peaceful and prosperous society - a goal set up by Dr Sun Yat-Sen, founding father of the Republic of China, in his renowned The Three Principles of the People more than a century ago.
