Professor Charles Cranfield takes a fresh look at some important questions currently in debate. Several of these essays are previously unpublished.Subjects include, for example, what Paul meant by the works of law; whether his meaning in the words pistis Christou was faith in Christ or Christ's faith; whether the old Testament law has a continuing place in the life of the Christian church.
