As a typical member of the pack, Debra Timoth had led a straightforward existence. She was neither an omega nor a warrior; she was neither a beta nor an alpha child. All she was was Debra.

However, Debra is devastated and heartbroken when her partner rejects her. She is unsure about how to feel and what to do. She can't make up her mind, so she sticks with her group even when judgment calls her name. My entire body hurt so badly. There was an unseen force breaking the bones. I had heard of such agony, but the whole degree was never disclosed. My legs became numb, my mouth went dry, and I lay there shaking from having knives thrust into my neck.

"You've got to accept it now."Undaunted by my suffering, Omar explained. "It's the only way to make the pain go away."
