Ollie and her best friend have a lot in common. From their brown skin, to their fine, curly hair, to their love of hide-and-seek, the two are inseparable. One day, Ollie takes a spill on the playground and her friend and the other kids see her belly – and her secret. Ollie and her mom take this opportunity to explain to the class that umbilical hernias are common and that Ollie is just like everyone else. Ollie’s Outie teaches kids to discover and appreciate their differences.
