Maybe you have heard the expression "offering it up" or offer it up. The author first heard about it when he was in a Catholic grade school. Recently he came across it again and decided to explore its meaning, purpose and value. He learned that it can be a powerful spiritual sacrifice offered up to God, for others and the world. He continues to practice the habit especially when he is trying to wait patiently and doing things he does not like to do. He learned that suffering is not easy to offer up but if practiced, it can lead to advanced spiritual growth. The book presents guidelines and a sample list for the reader to select from for practicing 'Offering it up".
