Occupational Respiratory

Occupational health problems are becoming the major concern for public health problem worldwide. Occupational respiratory disease in Ethiopia is highly prevalent. This result, due to health awareness in the community is not well done. And this resulted in an extensively high prevalence of occupational respiratory health symptoms in street sweepers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The most vulnerable groups are street sweepers. Street sweepers are to sweep and throw away materials in the street. Lack of awareness in the utilization of personal protective equipment increases the prevalence of respiratory health symptoms among street sweepers in most developing countries.
