Beskrivelse
This political piece by Alberdi focuses on limiting and controlling power. Convinced that "a free country can not say who exercises his freedom except when he holds in his hands the government of his government." He designed a political order with an executive who manages the constitution. The president would not make the law, nor intervene in the judiciary, or the municipal administration. Among his political writings one should note his critique of statism and of the colonial legacy, a great barrier, in his opinion, to progress in Latin America.
