The last hope for humanity lies in the hands of a pope and seven strangers.



Darkness is spreading across the Earth, and the great bastion of freedom is falling. President Kurt Buchanan has sold his soul to the dark one, fueling hatred across the land.



The apostles have asked God to give the Earth one last chance for redemption. He agrees, but they must carry His Word beyond the Earth to another world light-years away.



Seven total strangers from all walks of life - Jake Young, a Catholic and US Air Force pilot; Dr. Abornazine Jones, a member of the Abenaki tribe; Dr. Hayat Muhammad, a Syrian; Dr. Aiko Yoshioka, a Buddhist from Japan; Dr. Andreia Santos, a descendent of the Amazon Kuikúro tribe; Dr. Mary Harrington, a Buddhist from England; Dr. Joe Washington, an African American Catholic priest. All struggle with their belief in the one true God. Yet, the Pope has chosen them as the crew to launch NUERA1.
