These are the early years of the twentieth century. Immigrants from many parts of the world take up the Canadian Government's offer of free land on the prairies. Among them are the Dustlanders and Kumbacks from Oklahoma and the Londoners from England. This is a tale of their struggles, deceptions, discoveries and triumphs.
