Beskrivelse
This is the true story of a man suffering Bi-Polar illness. It began when he was aged eighteen. He tells
of his experiences in psychiatric wards and of the colourful people he met along the way. His highs
and lows were so extreme, that he had to be sedated, sometimes forcibly. He was often sectioned.
Which is being hospitalised without your consent. and would be brought in by the police. He was
sectioned for six months four times.
Visitors were sometimes turned away by staff because he was too ill to be seen.
When he was released, he became suicidal and made many attempts on his life. The cycle
continued. He would often escape from the hospital, confused and not knowing where he was, or
where he was going.
The illness drove him through madness to the depths of despair and nearly killed him.
Then a burst of sunshine entered his life, a gift from God. But would it stop his cascade of
destruction?
