There really are no words that say I love you, for Native people, these things are expressed through emotions how that person makes you feel so to say I love you is to say in English, 'My heart aches for you." In my trilogy Nirvatra, the characters speak their own native language, but as all Natives, throughout the world, it is expressed with the same profound concept. Sometimes modern English has words that take away from the deep connection that we may want to express with our love ones. I love the saying actions are more powerful than words. That's how I see it when Kahlan tells Nalah he loves her. He speaks from his heart, which cannot be denied, he shows it in his actions which cannot be compromised. What if we all loved each other in this way, what a very different world this would be.Here is an excerpt from Nirvatra Redemption...Enjoy Kahlan stays quiet, he turns his wife's face towards him and presses his forehead to hers. He then kisses her soft lips and embraces her. "I won't be long," he whispers."My heart aches for you," she breathes into him."My heart aches for you," he whispers back.
