Fujiko Has Come for Your Soul

Mount Shouza was once a land of peace and learning. The seat of Yamato's great college, it is now plagued by Fujiko the Mountain Hag, a vengeful spirit who harvests the souls of travellers and has already slaughtered several villages which refused to proffer a sacrifice during the harvest moon.

Saru must reach Mannen the ancient turtle at Mount Shouza's peak. Only there will he finally learn Akame's true goal and how to defeat him. Joined by several new allies, Saru's path leads directly through Fujiko's domain. Impervious to weapons, she is their most dangerous and horrifying enemy so far.

To break Fujiko's curse, they must learn the tragic secrets of her past, and unlock the mysteries which have haunted the mountain for far too long. Shouza College awaits beyond, with all its resources and treasures, and many of the answers Saru has searched for. The price of their journey, however, will be dire indeed.
