Musician, Tommy Donn, has a new problem. Songs playing on his internal juke box have switched to the tunes his Aunt Shirley and Uncle Frank loved - but they died mysteriously thirty years ago. Is it possible? Are they sending a message that will resolve the questions the small-town Wisconsin sheriff could not?...or, would not On the Fourth of July the Sheriff arrested Tommy's uncle for burning Aunt Shirley alive. Bad Boy, Frank Nazwisko didn't do it, but who would listen to a kid with an active imagination? Tommy Donn wants an ordinary, successful life - but the old songs, bad dreams, and even a watery, near-death experience, become a major distraction. Songs from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s give clues to the identity of the real killer. Was it Uncle Frank's drinking buddy? After all, someone called in an anonymous tip to the Sheriff after Frank's buddies drank themselves silly and blurted family secrets. Or, was it the parish priest? Aunt Shirley did spend an excessive amount of time doing volunteer projects at the church. (And, there were all those nasty rumors about him.) This is a cozy mystery. That means no gruesome gore or overly explicit sexual details - just good story telling. And, you'll learn what really happened to Shirley Nazwisko.
