This volume is a collective work of eighteen eminent researchers representing various sub-fields of Interpreting Studies who contribute with fourteen chapters. The topics include various areas and approaches: interpreting from a philosophical, sociological and historical perspective, ethics of interpreters, court interpreting, public service interpreting, signed language interpreting, interpreting for minors and for refugees and asylum seekers, note-taking in consecutive interpreting, accessibility, as well as technology in interpreting and interpreter training.
