This book is a contribution to teacher training, presenting theoretical and practical foundations for understanding how learning takes place in the brain, given the need for new positions and pedagogical strategies that enable advances in the students' learning process. This book is aimed at education professionals, parents and all those responsible for the human teaching and learning process. The purpose of this book is to present the importance of applying theory in the classroom, so that teachers can qualitatively introduce their students to literate culture. This requires mediation with pedagogical intent. Therefore, the book in question offers our readers strategies practiced by teachers after moments of study based on neuroscience, demonstrating how neuroscientific knowledge can be applied in the classroom. This book provides educators with an understanding of the need for this study, since knowledge of brain functions is fundamental for encouraging healthy intellectual development.
