Beskrivelse
A better understanding of Luther and the Reformation and a more precise assessment of the current state of ecumenism - these are the aims of Catholic authors from different fields of activity and from different disciplines such as church history, ecumenism or practical theology. What is meant by Luther's tower experience? Is it possible to understand Luther as a reform Catholic? What has been achieved in ecumenism, what is to be expected? What about ecumenical liturgies? What kind of image of Luther is imparted in religious instruction? These and further questions are addressed in the present volume. The answers provide orientation not only in view of the anniversary of the Reformation in 2017 and open up new perspectives.
