Nell's Journey

"Nell was discovered to have Alzheimer's in the summer of 2014, and it has progressed to such a point that I have decided to keep a journal... As I was editing this diary, I realized that I included a lot of personal things about my caregiving experiences as the Alzheimer's began to take its daily toll in Nell's life. I was tempted to edit a lot of that out of my diary. Then as I thought about it, I decided to leave these experiences in because I wanted to be real..."
