Beskrivelse
This book addresses the issue of bilingual education in Mali, where French and eleven national languages are used in schools, and the results recorded in bilingual classes reflect the need to use them as teaching media. The practical cases of Bamanankan and Songhoy provide sufficient proof that the use of national languages at school is the sine qua non for improving the quality of the education system in French-speaking countries. In everyday life, this is in partnership with several African languages. Why is this partnership not expressed in the classroom?
