This Study Guide contains completely up-to-date material for the National 5 Applications of Mathematics course. Each spread of this Applications of Mathematics guide will contain the key elements from each topic of the SQA National 5 course – advice, formulae, diagrams and examples of exam standard, together with solutions and hints. It will also contain a Don’t Forget section which includes vital areas to focus on within each spread and ends with a section called Things To Do and Think About, which contains examples for you to practise. Another innovation in this guide is an online source of examples and solutions covering the entire syllabus on the free BrightRED Digital Zone. Solutions are given for all the examples providing a useful resource as you study. There are also suggested video links in each spread, including YouTube clips of teachers in action, visual guides, online calculators and even the occasional song!
