Beskrivelse
This research sought to analyse and interpret the professional experiences of Physical Education teachers at the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Espírito Santo (IFES). The theoretical-methodological orientation of the research was based on ethnomethodology, which contributed to a better understanding of the actions and interactions mobilised by the teachers, based on their professional experiences. These include professional experiences built in the transition from working before and already as an Ifes professional. From the interviews, five axes of analysis were configured: the place of experience in teaching work; passion for teaching; the context of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo in the constitution of teaching identities; sport; integrated technical education. It is also found that there is a great difficulty in working Physical Education within the proposal of integrated technical education. The most significant professional experiences of Physical Education teachers at Ifes are in the context of sport. The integration between secondary education and vocational education remains a major challenge for the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo.
