Nana Posy and the Rosy-Faced Lovebird: Nana Posy Series # 6

This 38-page 8" X 10" children's picture book is the 6th book in the Nana Posy series and hopes to become the series' third title in a row to make # 1 on Amazon's list of Hot New Releases. With realistic full-color illustrations by the author's son, Tyson Myers, Nana Posy and the Rosy-Faced Lovebird gives kids the opportunity to learn about wildlife in a natural setting. Based once again on a true story, Nana Posy tries to reconcile her own thoughts about how things "should" be in her Arizona backyard and garden with Mother Nature's ways.

When a baby lovebird falls from one of her palm trees, Nana Posy is faced with finding a way to rescue the helpless creature without taking away his wild nature. "Nana Posy did not want a pet bird. She thought wild creatures should keep the gift of freedom they were born with."

As with the other books in the Nana Posy series, there is rich vocabulary and an emotional intelligence lesson embedded in the story. For kids and kids at heart aged 2 to 102 and dedicated in part to people who make stories come alive by reading with pizzazz.
