This interactive book will take parents and young children on a reading and writing adventure together. They relive the fun of a special event by recording it in these books. Children become the books' authors as they finish the sentences using their own words and paste photographs or draw pictures to illustrate them. Completing a book helps young and beginning readers improve their vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. This book also introduces other skills kids can work on such as measuring, comparing, counting, understanding family relationships, expressing emotions, and learning family traditions. My Trip to the Zoo will bring repeated enjoyment and skill development as children share reading the book aloud with parents, family members, and friends.
