My Texas Memories

Eagle Pass, Texas during the mid-1940s provided me with the ideal childhood, even though there was no television, and radio was limited in its reception. This intellectual void was filled by reading and my grandparents' storytelling, describing life and events from their youth. These tales of Texas enhanced the imagination and provided a dose of ethics and ethos for my later years.
