Claire comes from a broken home. A father whose absent from a very young age and a mother who lets him walk all over her. It's not the best example to follow, but this doesn't phase her. Claire dedicates herself to school, missing out on everything else life has to offer.

Braxton had a more obvious dysfunctional upbringing. Brutally abused by his father growing up, he was hated by his peers and often misunderstood by everyone but Claire, or so he thought.

A tragedy changes everything. Braxton has spent the last ten years in a mental institution with one goal in mind. To destroy the woman that hurt him the most. Claire is too busy to see the signs of danger before it's too late. She's not the only one. As it turns out, there're bigger problems on the horizon for both of them.
