Although the scriptures say, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" - Matthew 7:7. Most of us - Christians, ask from God and never receive anything. The reason is that most of us lack faith and ask amiss - for our pleasures instead of our immediate needs - James 4:3; James :6. Again, we - Christians, do not seek God by studying his words - Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3. No wonder the scriptures say, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" - James 4:8.
