Beskrivelse
This is the authors first book of poetry after writing a number of nonfiction books about the founding fathers and science and modern philosphy's affect on the culture. The first part of the book expresses the authors thoughts and feelings about the world, which has changed dramatically over his 73 years. Here, he reminisces about prior trips, delves into modern science and art, and looks at the culture and religion. In this part you will find such poems as, Life is "Quarky," Oh Deer, Time of Discontent, God Bearer, and The Other Brother. It expresses pathos and lamenting over the current state of modern society and religion, and is whimsical in turn. The second part surveys the story of the People of God from creation to the founding of Christ's Church that has extended the New Covenant and Good News to the world. It is an amazing story of God's love for His people. It is cosmic in scope and vision and is a great love story. There is abiding love, strong emotion, heartaches, drama, crisis, hope, longing, pathos, and great joy. It has all the elements of a fascinating story, which is true, exciting, life giving, and interactive.
