Beskrivelse
Master Jung K. Lee has been training, researching, and teaching martial arts for over 40 years and currently holds a Seventh-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. From humble beginnings in the countryside of South Korea, Master Lee has pursued an illustrious career as a student and master of Taekwondo. He graduated from Chung-buk National University in 1997 with a degree in physics, was chosen for the South Korean National Olympics Demonstration Team, and served in the Korean army as a Special Forces Combat Instructor before heading to the United States to teach Taekwondo. In 2008, Master Lee contributed essays to a Taekwondo publication regarding his experiences as a Taekwondo master that invoked tears and laughter from his audience. In addition, he worked as a martial arts columnist for the famous martial art website Mookas. Overwhelming positive feedback and encouragement from readers lead the essays to be published in the Korean-language version of, "The Journey of Master Lee". Master Lee firmly believes that Taekwondo can broaden its horizons only when its practitioners have a broader range of interests and learning. His book "The Science of Tae Kwon Do", was published as part of an ongoing effort to combine Taekwondo with science. To this day, he seeks to help his students find enlightenment within themselves and in their lives through Taekwondo and the martial arts.
