My Irish Rose

In the early twentieth century in the city of New Orleans, Rose, living in poverty and struggling to help her widowed, sick mother survive, somehow manages to find happiness in her life of blood, sweat, and tears. At the same time, we find Joseph. After his own father dies, he finds a love of gardening and manages to help his mom provide for her two sons by producing vegetables, even after she marries again. After years of heartbreak and financial struggles, losing two wives and suffering under the exploitation of his own brother, Joseph meets Rose and falls in love. But after everything Joseph has been through, can he possibly ask another woman to accept him and all his problems? Is Rose willing to accept all the problems that will exist as a result of her love for Joseph?
