My Hosea: Innocence Lost

Mansions, expensive cars, credit cards with no limit... this is fourteen-year-old Kate's world. A world of plenty and opulence. West Palm Beach, in the mid 90's. Many only dream of this life; wishing they were a member of this exclusive club. And from the outside, it appears as if Kate has everything. However, behind those gilded gates, Kate's life is not as wonderful as it seems. Abused since she was a small child, Kate can't wait to graduate high school and break free from her dysfunctional family. Yet, she does not dare share the turmoil going on inside her house with anyone; not even her best friends. Kate does everything that she can to make those around her believe that live is perfect. But when life events occur, causing her perfect image to come crashing down, how will Kate respond? Will she be able to recover? Or will her perfect reputation be destroyed?
